Assembles and Installs in Minutes
In order to be sure we could ship via UPS, inventor Larry Kamerer
decided that some assembly of TuffTOPs would be required in the field.
But he was careful to make sure that only two simple tools and a pair
of human hands are needed. The new TuffTOP owner should complete the
job within 30 minutes!
After assembly is complete, it's time to install. Most hard canopies
require two people and maybe even a forklift to work for an hour
or two to install a canopy. The TuffTOP sunshade takes one person
no more than six minutes using a deep-well 9/16" socket. If
you use an open-end wrench, it might take three minutes longer,
but if you use a cordless drill, it will take about two minutes.
That's fast! This means, if a dealer has a unit on display, his
sales person can move it from one tractor or mower to another in
twelve minutes. No longer does he have to tie up two educated service
personnel and a fork lift for two-to three man-hours.
After completion of the installation, the TuffTOP mounting is
so strong that you can hang from it, and suspend your weight in
mid-air. There are no front posts or side braces to obstruct your
vision or bang your head. The installation is so tight that vibration
does not cause loosening of hardware, and does not add to the noise
level like clanky metal canopies do.
