Universal Mounting Bracket
 Of course our mounting bracket won't attach a TuffTOP or TuffTOP-XL to your car, truck or to your head! Ha!! But one of our two mounting brackets will fit the rectangular roll bar of almost any tractor or zero-turn-radius mower, in addition to some rough mowers, fairway mowers, greens mowers and certain ATV’s.
TuffTOP SCR and XLR
Each TuffTOP model SCR (44x44 inches) and XLR (48x52 inches) includes a mounting bracket that will fit any rectangular roll bar (ROPS) measuring up to 2 inches tall and up to 3 inches deep. This means the bracket for those models will fit most compact tractors and zero-turn mowers (when equipped with ROPS). The same bracket fits John Deere 5000 Series and Kubota M-5 Series mid-size utility tractors. Some Toro Workman and certain John Deere Gator ATV’s have traditional ROPS that receive the TuffTOP bracket as well.
TuffTOP SXL
The largest TuffTOP (model SXL) is equipped with a mounting bracket that fits rectangular roll bars up to 3-1/2 inches tall and up to 5-1/2 inches deep. It will fit almost all full-size ag tractors and other intermediate size tractors. In addition, the SXL mounting bracket fits certain rough mowers and fairway mowers (for golf courses) that have roll bars larger than 2x3 inches.
Please note that both of our mounting brackets are adjustable, to provide a level or near-level canopy elevation when the roll bar leans within a 32 degree range; from 16 degrees forward to 16 degrees backward.
