To find out wich model TuffTOP is the right TuffTOP for your tractor or mower please review all of the following items:
Is your roll bar rectangular or square in shape?
If not, there is no TuffTOP mounting bracket to fit your roll bar.
Is your rectangular roll bar taller than 3-1/2 inches or deeper (front-to-back) than 5-1/2 inches?
If so, there is no TuffTOP mounting bracket that will fit your roll bar.
Does your roll bar lean forward or backward at an angle greater than 16 degrees?
If so, the TuffTOP cannot be mounted on your particular roll bar with an elevation that is level or near-level.
Is your rectangular roll bar taller than 2 inches or deeper (front-to-back) than 3 inches?”
If not, you should select the Model SCR or Model XLR TuffTOP. When you sit in the operator’s seat, and raise your arms straight above your head, are your wrists higher than the bottom of the roll bar? If so, the smallest TuffTOP (Model SCR) will suffice. If not, you should select the second-largest TuffTOP (Model XLR).
Is your roll bar larger than 2 inches tall or 3 inches deep (front-to-back), and is it smaller than 3-1/2 inches tall or 5-1/2 inches deep (front-to-back)?
If so, you should select the largest TuffTOP (Model SXL).
Does your roll bar have bolt heads on the back side of the roll bar near the center point?
If so, weatherproof shims will be needed to attain adequate purchase of the TuffTOP mounting bracket clamp against the backside of the roll bar. The shims should be steel or plastic, and are not provided.
Do you have a Kubota L-Series Compact Tractor?
If so, you may have a roll bar with two bolt heads located on the top of the roll bar near the center point. Our TuffTOP mounting brackets have been designed with clearance holed to accommodate these particular bolt heads.
Is your roll bar taller than 3-12 inches or deeper than 5-1/2 inches, and do you have reason to prefer a canopy smaller than 48x64 inches?
If so, you should order the Model SXL TuffTOP, leave out the (third) 12 inch panel, and field-modify the steel edge channels (or order two modified channels from our parts department). That way, you can have the larger mounting bracket with a (smaller) 48x52 inch canopy footprint.
